14 Progressive Groups in Wisconsin Took Funds from Nazi Sympathizer

In Wisconsin, 14 groups receive grants from the Open Society Institute. The Open Society Institute, founded in 1993 by Hungarian-born billionaire George Soros, purports to be committed to “building vibrant and tolerant democracies.” But evidence suggests that Soros and the Open Society Institute are instead committed to radical social engineering, anarchy and the ultimate destruction of the United States.

Despite being born Jewish, Soros is an unabashed Nazi-sympathizer. In an interview with Steve Kroft of 60 Minutes, Soros declared that 1944, the year in which Soros corroborated with the Nazi’s in Hungary to confiscate property from Jews, was “the best year of his life.” Soros went on to claim that he “rather enjoyed it” and only felt feelings of “absolute power.”

Soros made his fortunes through hedge funds and currency speculation and is linked to the following:

    • “Shorting the British pound with leveraged billions…and became known as the man who broke the Bank of England.”

    • Destroying the economies of Thailand and Malaysia in 1997

    • Rep. Jim Leach labeled Soros’ 1999 financial scandal in Russia as “one of the greatest social robberies in human history.”

    • France has convicted Soros of felony insider trading

    • Soros’ native Hungary fined him $2.2 million for “illegal market manipulation.”

In short, Soros and his money are tied to numerous scandals, crimes and theft that destroyed individual lives, as well as threatened the economies of entire nations. His money advances an agenda rooted in the ideas of his controversial mentor Karl Popper whose notion of the “the open society” refers to a method of testing and evaluating the effects of social engineering.

The 14 Wisconsin organizations that take money from George Soros and the Open Society Institute include:

  • Citizen Action of Wisconsin Education Fund
  • Institute for One Wisconsin
  • Wisconsin Democracy Campaign
  • Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism
  • Institute for Wisconsin’s Future
  • Good Jobs and Livable Neighborhoods
  • Voces de la Frontera
  • Midwest Environmental Advocates
  • Wisconsin Citizen Engagement Project
  • 9to5
  • National Association of Working Women
  • Campaign Against Violence
  • Wisconsin Council on Children and Families

Given Soros’ unapologetic collaboration with the Nazi’s, making money through currency speculation schemes, and commitment to funding social engineering around the world is cause for concern.

The responsible thing for these 14organizations would be to return any funds granted by the Open Society Institute and rebuke Soros for his unconscionable behavior.
