Waukesha Error Finds 14,000 Votes, Prosser Takes the Lead In Wisconsin Supreme Court Race
Visibly shaken, Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus took the podium at the Waukesha County Courthouse to explain what she called a “human error” resulting from not saving certain election results from the city of Brookfield. The stunning result is the addition of over 14,000 votes to the the Wisconsin Supreme Court race that as of yesterday was separated by just 204 votes.
The new results for Waukesha County are as follows:
David Prosser: 92,263
JoAnne Kloppenburg: 32,758
As a result of the additional votes from Brookfield and the correction of totals from other canvassing efforts around the county, Justice David Prosser added a net total of 7,582 votes to race that was dead even. The addition of this many votes is an incredible development that throws the entire assumption of a recount into question.
