Hyper-Partisan One Wisconsin Now Front Man Joins Falk Campaign
By Collin Roth
Scot Ross, the always boisterous and controversial front man for the left-wing advocacy group One Wisconsin Now, joined the Kathleen Falk for Governor campaign this week. One Wisconsin Now sent an email to members explaining that Ross was taking a leave of absence to join Kathleen Falk’s campaign against Governor Scott Walker. Ross worked for Falk previously when she ran unsuccessfully for Governor in 2002 serving as her communications director.
Scot Ross’ arrival on Team Falk is sure to elevate the level of debate considering Ross’ extreme progressive views and penchant for overblown rhetoric.
Some of Ross’ highlights include:
- Ross was involved in the legislative Caucus Scandal racking up nearly $4,000 in legal fees. It must be awkward for Kathleen Falk to criticize Governor Walker’s current John Doe investigation when the man writing her statements has been the subject of similar crimes.
- As Executive Director of One Wisconsin Now, Scot Ross told Bill Leuders in an interview just last December that his organization was “as neutral as Switzerland on the effort to recall Gov. Scott Walker and other Republicans.” Meanwhile, Ross and One Wisconsin Now were actively raising money and promoting the recall of Walker.
- At the 2010 Democratic Convention, Scot Ross and One Wisconsin Now circulated a “Responsible Budget” petition that included massive tax hikes. It is no secret how Falk and Ross would fix Wisconsin’s budget ills.
Running communications for Team Falk, Scot Ross will finally get to put aside all that “non-partisan,” “neutral as Switzerland” stuff and get down to the business of attacking Scott Walker. Oh wait, he’s been doing that full-time for the past two years.

Just for my own curiosity, what is it that makes someone “hyper-partisan” instead of just, you know, the normal levels of partisanship?
And does it have anything to do with having a “penchant for overblown rhetoric”?

I think it takes a hyper-partisan “news” outlet such as this one, that claims to be non-partisan, to recognize hyper-partisanship.

Ross “has been the subject of similar crimes.”
Might want to explain this idiotic remark.

Scot Ross was implicated in the Caucus Sandel whereby he and others did campaign work almost full time while working as state employees. This is precisely the type of thing aides like Darlene Wink are accused of doing. That is why Falk/Ross’ attacks real of hypocrisy.

I’m aware of the history. You said Ross was “the subject of crimes.” What is that supposed to mean? That Ross had crimes committed against him? Or are you suggesting that Ross committed crimes? Because that would be a false claim. Now you say Ross was “implicated.” That’s also false. Do you even understand the meaning of the words that you use?

Why are all you LEFTIES posting here, shouldn’t you be working as we the taxpayer are probably paying your inflated wages. Also, Walker will win in a LANDSLIDE! It’s going to be like Christmas in the summer, I can’t wait and I am hoping that many of you sick recallers will leave OUR state after the VICTORY!

Hunny, there’s nothing ‘lefty’ about proper rhetoric.
