In the wake of the tragic events at Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesman Graeme Zielinski suggested on Twitter that the Wisconsin GOP would believe in a conspiracy that suggests the shooting was a hoax.
In a tweet by Howie Klein, who identifies himself as a progressive blogger and activist, asked the question on twitter Who will embrace the SandyHook Hoax conspiracy 1st– Bachmann, Huelskamp, Broun, Gohmert, King, Foxx, Gingrey, Westmoreland or Stockman? Zielinski replied with @wisgop.
For Graeme Zielinski to suggest that the Wisconsin GOP are Sandy Hook conspiracy theorists at a time when many people are still struggling to come to grips with what happened is insensitive, disgusting, and wrong. Democrats in Wisconsin should be ashamed with their party spokesman for pushing this unwarranted and false attack. To associate another party whom one disagree with, even in jest, with Sandy Hook “truthers” is inappropriate and deserves condemnation.
