7 Flags of Murdering Regimes Still Found on Amazon
In response to recent the recent public outcry over the Confederate flag, Amazon.com removed all listings of the flag from its website. Although the Confederate flag will not be found on Amazon due to it’s alleged representation of racism and hatred, many other flags that appear to represent racism and hatred can still be found on Amazon. Barring any popular outcry and social media campaign, it is unclear whether or not Amazon intends to eventually remove these items from its inventory.
Leaders of the USSR include Vladimir Lenin and Joseph Stalin. Although definite numbers will never be known, an estimated 56-62 million people died “unnatural deaths” in the USSR between 1928-1954.
3.5 million non-white South Africans were removed from their homes and forced into segregated neighborhoods under apartheid. Incidentally, this was also one of the flags that was seen on the jacket of Charleston shooter Dillon Roof.
During a 100-day period between April 7th and mid-July 1994, an estimated 500,000 to 1,000,000 Rwandans were killed by their government. This constituted approximately 20% of the entire population of Rwanda.
The atrocities of the North Korean regime have been well documented. Currently, approximately 200,000 citizens are being held in camps as political prisoners. The number of people who have e been killed by the regime has been difficult to document due to the country’s limited access to the outside world.
The Nazi’s led by dictator Adolf Hitler were responsible for the deaths of approximately 15-20 million people, including over 6 million Jews, from 1938-1945.
During the 1975-1979 “Killing Fields” season the Khmer Rouge regime was responsible for the deaths of 2,000,000 people. This accounted for 25% of the population of Cambodia.
